Derwent Brass are delighted to announce that John Baum has accepted an invitation to take up the vacant 2nd Trombone position. John is shown right celebrating with the band after the National Finals performance at Harrogate. John has an abundance of banding experience and has played with Derwent Brass on many occasions over several years. The band's MD commented "John has been a personal friend for many years now, we enjoyed several years at William Davies band together, and I know what a first class bandsman he is, as well as a fine trombone player. Along with his playing xability he brings so much eexperience, he's played at so many venues and contests, recordings, broadcasts, tours and the like, and spent a lot of time in the Championship section in the solo trombone chair.
