Big Band - Big Screen : In recent years the band have featured a big band set in many concerts and this has proved to be very popular with audiences. At the same time well known film themes have always been hit, so the next CD content seemed a fairly obvious choice. This CD takes us from popular swing numbers such Mack The Knife and 42nd Street to swing numbers that were also used in films such as Soul Bossa Nova and Sparkling Diamonds through to well known brass band items from Brassed Off and themes from Titanic, Gladiator and Pirates of the Carribean.

The Wonder of Christmas : The music captures the spirit of Christmas with well known tunes and carols, old and modern arrangements. Band soloists are featured with Dan Cheadle playing the Christmas melody O Holy Night, and Bass Trombonist Chris Clayton giving a playful account of Frosty the Snowman.

Sounds Like Christmas : In the late 1990's the band was invited for consecutive years to perform at the Derby Choral Union Christmas concerts held at the Assembly Rooms, and were pleased to join with the Choral Union for the making of the CD Sounds Like Christmas. The recording is a compilation of solo vocals, Derby Hight School choir, solo organist Tom Corfield, the Derby Choral Union with several items accompanied by the band and 2 solo items by the band - Pot Pourri from Steven Bulla's Christmas Suite and Who is He?
As far as we are aware this CD is sold out, but it is worth making an enquiry via the Derby Choral Union direct as there may be some copies still available.
Face The Music : This 'first venture' budget recording was made in the early days of the band and was only available on cassette. Recorded in the bandroom and is an easy listening recording featuring typical concert and bandstand type items. Solo items include Chiapanecas from David Neville, Blaydon Races from Eric Johnson, The Way We Were from Jennifer Marsden, and the trombone section are featured in Trombola
